How to De-puff & Undo Facial Bloat During the Holidays

I dont think its a secret that the holidays are an indulgent time. Lots of treats and meals you only get once or a few times throughout the year. But sometimes it shows and no one likes to feel puffy and bloated. So while you can hide under sweaters, you cant quite hide that facial bloat so I have a few handy little tricks for you to get that bloat down in an hours time.

V Line (aka Double Chin) Masks

These are a godsend. Truly. Strap this mask on across your jawline (on your face and down across under your chin) and leave it on for at least an hour to watch the extra puffiness and bloating in your face go away. I usually do this while I am lazing around in the morning drinking coffee which is extra easy to do with work from home now! My favorite brand is Lauer but these ones also work really well to de-puff your jawline! I usually buy a few at a time since the Lauer ones sell out quickly!

Clarins V Facial Intensive Wrap

This mask works wonders for a face full of sodium and margaritas – or am I the only one that occasionally overindulges in the pre-meal chips and salsa? I usually apply this just over my cheeks and wear it simultaneously with the chin masks. I dont put it under the chin mask to save product (I didnt think it made that much of a difference when I tried it with both layered). This helps to remvoe any bloating or puffiness from the cheeks. Again, leave it on for over an hour if you can for the best effect. This sells out often but you can buy it directly from Clarins or Sephora.

Ice Roller

There are all kinds of rollers & methods that you can get to help depuff your face – jade, gua sha, etc. For a morning when you dont have the time for a full hour long mask routine (tbh I usually only do that for large events or when lots of pics will be taken or post major indulgence or vacation) the ice roller is that fastest and most effective way to debloat quickly. I was honestly surprised at how well it worked the first time I used it but honestly it feels amazing, especially for a headache (or hangover).
